A Sentimental Salad: Radicchio Caesar with Herbed Croutons

When we first moved to Portland, we began to drool over articles featuring Nostrana.  We celebrated my first week of work with a fabulous dinner there and we STILL talk about the salad.  Nostrana was one of my first reviews when I started this blog.

Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies

I'm new to Pinterest.  What a big world of opportunity and sharing!  I'm nervous people have started to follow my boards and I want to shout "wait! I'm not organized yet!" It's like your dinner guests coming an hour early.  Oh well... "they can watch me learn."  I must admit, I have been caught up by a few recipes.  This is this is the result of one of them.  Thanks to sweetestkitchen.com

You will not be disappointed by these cookies.  They are everything you want in a peanut butter cookie, then add your my love affair with Nutella. They are divinely scrumptious.  And they won't last long.  You'll find yourself justifying having just one more every time.  Good or bad thing? You choose.

100th Post! Monterey Clam Chowder

Everyone who grew up on the Monterey Peninsula knows about Old Fisherman's Wharf and it's clam chowder debate.  I don't think there's much debate really.  You should visit for yourself and decide for free!  After about 11am nearly a dozen of the restaurants on the Wharf post their staff outside with a large pot of "their chowder" enticing you in.  It's practically lunch to try them all.

It didn't always used to be this way.
